Waldegrave Judo Club

Join our popular after-school Judo Club in the main sports hall and develop your skills in one of the world's most exciting Olympic sports. Students will learn both standing judo and groundwork, working through the British Judo Mon grade syllabus and progressing towards nationally recognised grades and awards.

Judo is a fantastic way to improve fitness, confidence, coordination and resilience whilst making new friends in a fun, supportive environment. Our club has been running successfully at Waldegrave for over 10 years and continues to be one of the school's most popular activities.

Students enrolling for the term will receive a brand new judo kit from the coach, giving them everything they need to get started on their judo journey.

Students should arrive in their judo gi and bring a water bottle as sessions can be physically demanding.
